Spring Already?

We never got much “winter” this past winter, but we still can have spring! You’ve seen crocuses, periwinkles, and daffodils since early March. Take a walk in the woods near any wetland can you can easily spot a skunk cabbage spathe popping up. Maybe you’ll see a marsh marigold in a shallow stream, even under water if it rained recently. Of course, wildlife is waking up, too. With most group activities canceled, this is a great time to get some healthy fresh air with your family. The trails are not crowded so social distancing is easy. Views are great because the leaves aren’t out yet. And while it’s still cool, you won’t find many mosquitoes or ticks.
