Eagle Scout candidate Nick DePatie has just completed clearing a new loop trail at Brook Hollow, one of HALT’s oldest properties, that passes through the remote northeast section of the parcel near the Ashland town line. It is a pleasant, easy walk through open woods, fern glades, and alongside a very long stone wall that few have seen since it became forested over. This is a great time of year to check it out while the trail is fresh and the ground is dry.
