Droughtful Activities

Most of Massachusetts is in drought. That’s bad and there’s nothing we can do about it, other than try to conserve what water there is. However, you can take advantage of the drought! Most of our trails are unusually dry and walkable and make great, easy-going outings. There are fewer mosquitoes and biting bugs, and even ticks seem to be hiding. If you’ve been staying away from the woods for fear of bugs, a mid-day walk is a great way to experience the outdoors and beauty of Hopkinton’s wild places.
